The black parts of the clips become really grainy. I tried Cinestyle on my 7D but the result wasn’t that great on a low light condition. Using Cinestyle, you can have that flat and de-saturated images similar to Log. The goal of shooting in flat is to have more freedom in color grading in post production. If you’re aware of Log profiles, most high-end DSLRs have log picture profile that produces flat colors but retains more details in the blacks and whites. ![]() What is Cinestyle?Ĭinestyle is a picture profile that was developed by Technicolor color scientists and engineers to enhance flexibility in capturing images by shooting in a flat and de-saturated profile.
